Cut for a dusk reception

Cut for a reception that moved from a courtyard into a darker room. The silk is champagne but matte, so it reads as cloth rather than costume.

Column cut, no train, a hem that clears the floor by a little so it can be walked in. One covered button at the back. The shoulder is bare because the room was warm and the night was long.
